Are you certified?


Absolutely, I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine).




How many times a week do I need to go to the gym?


I'm glad you aksed! That truthfully depends on your plan, the time you have, and many other factors we'll dicuss in your on boarding assesment which is free when you sign up for training! :) Training is not a one size fits all ordeal, you'll tell me about you and then I will makes a plan that works for both of us!

I do not want to look very muscular will lifting weights make me look too muscular?


Believe it or not, I hear this A LOT! I totally understand if you are looking to slim down or just become healthier. Just because you begin training doesn;t mean you'll end up looking like the Hulk by the end of your first session. If this is a concern, it shouldnt be, as long as we are clear in our assessment of our goals then we'll all be on the same page




Do you train in gyms?


Yes, I don't train in every single gym or commercial gyms like LA fitness or Planet Fitness but I have contracts with other gyms where you can come train and will not have to buy a membership!If you're interested in 1-on-1 coaching click here!




I am injured or have been injured in the past, can you train me?


Depending on the injury I may be able to work with you, however I am not a doctor, physical therapist, or licensed to medically resolve your injury. If you have written clearance from your doctor or physical therapist, we can possibly work together. If you have an underlying injury, prior surgery, or other matter you must mention this beforehand as it is important that the lines of communication stay open to avoid further injury.




Do I need to take supplements?


It is often misunderstood taking protein will buff you up immediately, or that creatine or amino acids are some sort of steroid. Many times a supplement is an addition to something your body already produces naturally. This is not a one size fits all matter, yes or no question. It truthfully depends on the person, if you are taking supplements currently or want to begin taking supplements and need advice. We can find the right fit for you in your on boarding assessment!




Can I flatten my stomach or lose arm fat?


If I had a dime every time I was asked this, I was was the creator of human bodies I would've certainly made spot reduction a thing. Sadly, they gave the job to some other guy and that't not how our bodies work. If you have been told that in the past erase it from your brain, of course you can do targeted exercises, i.e. bicep curls, leg extensions, etc. that may reduce fat and built muscle. Yet our bodies lose fat as a whole and sometimes in other places before where we want. This is a process, do not rush it but stay consistent and you can shed the pounds where they really count!




I am 50 or older, is it too late for me to start working out?
